This is a list of all the skills and tools I have developed in my career. It is not completely exhaustive, and I am certainly not an expert across all of these technologies. It’s a list of most of the tools, software, languages, and more I’ve previously worked with. I hope you enjoy my keywords!

General Skills

  • Documentation: I have strong documentation skills. I’m able to create documentation for varying audiences — whether terse and technical READMEs for developers or more comprehensive and in-depth manuals for content editors. I truly enjoy creating — and updating — documentation.
    • At Kanopi — I wrote accessibility training for a global program for a company of 10,000 employees. I also owned 20+ pages of documentation for working with a large client. This included creation of a site matrix spreadsheet listing all web properties and various aspects of them, such as whether they’re a multisite, multilingual, what tools they’re using, and links to repositories and various environments. The matrix in particular is in daily use by the entire team and has saved countless hours collecting and recollecting links and information.
    • At TelTech — I chose and implemented Guru documentation for our internal documentation, after experimentation between several platforms determined it was the best option for our needs.
  • Leadership, Presentations & Onboarding: I’m able to lead and guide others.
    • At Kanopi — I am tasked with guiding new developers through the intense multi-step processes for onboarding, access, and workflows for my primary project. I’ve also mentored two junior developers to success, which has been a truly rewarding experience. I’ve given an hour-long “Teaching Tuesday” talk about the process of upgrading our sites to PHP 8, as well as co-led an accessibility talk for a company-wide summit.
    • At JK Design — I prepared, rehearsed, and performed a training session on using and maintaining a new website for 10+ client users.
  • OS: macOS, Windows fluent; Linux experience (mostly Ubuntu, minor dabbling with CentOS)
  • Experience: 7+ years remote work, 6+ years digital agency, 2+ years in-house, 1 year start-up
