Bulbrite
I worked on the WordPress site for Bulbrite, a major New Jersey lighting manufacturer. The Bulbrite site includes a large selection of resources, from a lighting terminology glossary to lighting power consumption calculators. My work on the Bulbrite site included:
- Implementation of a complex custom slider for the homepage, using Advanced Custom Fields to make sure all aspects were editable to the client.
- Created custom post types for the various resources, including a Glossary plugin which was modified it for the client’s purposes
- Flexible templates using Advanced Custom Fields and the Flexible Content field, allowing the client to create complex page templates on the fly without the use of a page-builder or dozens of truly custom templates
- Implemented a complex location-based dealer search using the GeoMyWP plugin, including processing the provided dealer sheet from the client, collaborating on a small script to determine the dealer’s latitude and longitude, importing dealers into WordPress, and implementing the GeoMyWP map and templates into the dealer search page
