Pabst Enterprises Equipment Co., Inc
This WordPress site was created for an Elizabeth, New Jersey machine shop. This was a solo freelance project I undertook and managed, designed (from a pre-created theme), and developed myself.
The new site brought Pabst into the modern responsive era. The previous site didn’t work on mobile. The new site, with its responsive design, is much easier for customers to use on their mobile devices.
The addition of a small fixed-position callout for Rush jobs provided an easy way for customers to immediately recognize Pabst’s rush job expertise.
The contact form provided some custom routing functionality to help Pabst respond faster to Rush customer inquiries.
With its storied history, Pabst had numerous historical photos over their past near-century of operation, along with a huge collection of completed projects. Unfortunately — there weren’t many “action shots” suitable for use as large backgrounds. I sourced some Creative Commons commercial-use images, and modified them for use on the Pabst site.
